Niseko is going off right now! Over a foot and a half of snow has fallen this month and the quality is superb. The days ahead are looking good too with light snowfalls on the forecast until at least Tuesday next week.
Hakuba’s epic season is also set to continue with consistent light snow falling over the coming days. So just because spring has rolled around doesn’t mean skiers and snowboarder won’t get to enjoy plenty of Japan’s famous powder!

Low Costs for Kids
In Niseko and Hakuba, Rhythm is currently offering free rental for kids. Every adult renting a premium or standard rental package can rent a corresponding kids package free of charge (for kids under 13). In Niseko lift passes for kids aged over 5 are discounted from March 20th, plus GoSnow Snowsports School is offering free Ninja Kids and Yama kids lessons when purchased with an adult or private lesson.
Spring sales
Rhythm Japan is currently on sale across all its stores in Niseko and Hakuba. In Niseko this weekend customers can grab a huge 50% discount on all floor stock including skis, boards, jackets, pants, goggles, gloves, helmets and more! There’s also a free BBQ from 12pm on March 18th, 19th and 20th ! Big discounts are also available in Hakuba with 20% off all retail and 30% off some marked items.
Save on Accommodation
In both Niseko and Hakuba, March is traditionally the time when accommodation providers discount their rates the most. Some cut prices as much as 50%, which means now is the perfect time to book a cheap snow holiday!
Discount Passes
Adult lifts passes are also about the get a significant price chop. As of March 21st In Grand Hirafu (Niseko) an adult day pass is ¥4,000, compared to earlier in the season when it’s ¥5,500. Sounds like a blooming good deal to us!
