TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR RHYTHM RIDES

The following outlines Rhythm Japan’s (owned and operated by Beats Snow Sports Pty Ltd.) Terms & Conditions for its Rhythm Rides.

GENERAL BOOKINGS TERMS

Payment of your lesson (either via a third party agent or directly to Rhythm Japan) constitutes acceptance of all terms and conditions listed for all parties who take part in Rhythm Rides products (named or otherwise).

Lift passes are required to be purchased for the duration of lesson or guiding times when accessing a resort area. No refund will be given for any unsured portion of lift passes

Please arrive in your gear, with valid lift tickets before your scheduled lesson time. All lessons start at the scheduled time & lessons cannot be extended or rescheduled due to the late arrival of a guest for any reason.
All parties agree that you have valid travel insurance which covers you for snowsports activities. Please note the guest/s are responsible for their own medical expenses including rescue fees when accessing terrain outside of the resort boundaries.

Rhythm Rides lesson and guiding programs may be recorded by a Rhythm sponsored photographer/videographer. Customer acknowledges that they and their party’s likeness may appear in future print or digital media without remuneration.

ACCIDENT & PERSONAL LIABILITY

Rhythm Japan and its employees cannot be held liable for accident or injury, including serious body harm or injury resulting in death that occurs before, during or after your lesson/guide or tour
All those who partake in a Rhythm Rides product will indemnify and keep indemnified Rhythm Japan, its employees, affiliates and agents from all actions, suits, claims for damage and demands for personal injury, loss or damage.

RHYTHM PAYMENT TERMS

A deposit of 20% is required within 7 days of the booking.

The full remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the lesson/tour commencement.

RHYTHM RIDES CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Up until 7 days prior, a full refund will be provided for any reason.
  • From 7 days prior until 48 hours prior a 20% cancellation fee will be incurred.
  • From 48 hours prior a 100% cancellation fee will occur.
  • No compensation can be made for the loss of lesson time due to injury or illness if the lesson has commenced. Upon receipt of a valid medical certificate, a reschedule or refund of future lessons can be made.
    1. We must be advised before your new lesson has commenced.
    2. We must receive the report within 24 hours of the canceled lesson.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any reservations which do not meet our booking terms or have not been paid by the due date.
In the event of extreme weather that has caused the resort to cease operations, we will offer a reschedule or refund of your lesson/tour
  • This is available at the discretion of the manager only & offered at 100% for lessons/tours which have not commenced
  • A partial refund of the unused portion of your lesson or booking which have commenced
  • Not available if suitable terrain is available for your lesson or tour
If you are unable to travel due to restrictions on travel to Japan related to Covid 19 we will allow a full refund of your booking.
  • We must be advised prior to your lesson or tour commencement
  • Proof of inability to travel provided within 24 hours if requested.

RHYTHM futures CANCELLATION POLICY

Our program is offered a fixed price for the entire season regardless of how many days you would like to train during the season.  We are unable to offer pro-rata refunds or rescheduled lessons for missed training days.

We will offer a refund or reschedule only for the following reasons

  1. The training session has been canceled by Rhythm Futures
  2. There is a season-ending injury – a valid medical certificate is required.

If we deem the conditions unsuitable to train in; we may decide to postpone a training day. In this instance, we will first look to reschedule the training day, to another suitable opinion, or if this is not possible we will provide a pro-rata refund

We are unable to provide a reschedule or refund of lessons due to Covid. 

ALL PRIVATE LESSONS

Mixed discipline privates are not available.
All mixed groups must be of similar ability level.
For mixed age lessons (adults and children) we want you to have the best experience, please contact our guest service team to check your goals are achievable prior to making a reservation.
Lessons start at the scheduled time and are continuous.
For yours and our staffs safety, during full day lessons a minimum 30 minute lunch break is required and can be taken at your leisure.
For lessons for children under the age of 3, please contact our Guest Services Team to discuss your needs

NISEKO PRIVATES & NISEKO GUIDING

All Niseko Privates – operate within the Niseko United Resort Only.
All Niseko Guiding – operate in Niseko Resort and its surrounding areas accessible via its lift system. There is no private transportation available.
Full Day options can start anywhere within Grand Hirafu Resort or Annupuri resort, please note the lesson starts at the scheduled time and the guest is responsible for their own transport to the resort base.

Half Day lessons have the option to start at any of the fixed locations:

  • Rhythm Main
  • Family Run – Meet outside the Ticket Sales Office
  • Base – Meet outside the Ticket Sales
  • Gondola Base – Meet outside the Mountain Centre next to the Gondola

PLATINUM PRIVATES & CUSTOM GUIDING

You will have the flexibility to visit a variety of resorts in the area; which must be booked at least a day prior to your lesson by contacting our Guest Services Team.

Away resorts will include an additional 1 hour travel time. Making a total of 8 hours in duration.
Your reservation includes private transportation for a maximum of 6 guests for the booking duration per day.
Please note: Lessons start at the scheduled pick-up time, lessons cannot be extended if your departure is delayed.
Transportation is available to be arranged on the evening prior or morning of your lesson to arrange rental/retail needs. Please contact our guest services team to make arrangements.

COMPLIMENTARY PICKUP/DROP OFF

Is available for guests collecting their rental equipment who have booked one of our rental packages.
Please call 0136 23 0164 to arrange your pick up when you are ready.

It is recommended that you collect your gear the night before. If you are unable to collect gear the night before,

  • It is recommended to allow at least 1.5 hours prior to your lesson start time.
  • This is a complimentary service and no guarantees can be made that you will make your lesson start time.
Transport is available on the first and last day of rentals (to collect and return gear).
Guests can leave their après shoes only on the first and last day of their booking at the store.
We are sorry but personal items cannot be held. We recommend coming in your gear ready to ride, alternatively lockers can be hired at Grand Hirafu Dot base and Gondola Base at your expense.
Pick up is available from within Grand Hirafu resort and extends to the nearby areas. Please note additional travel times are required. If collecting gear on the morning of your rental, we recommend calling a minimum of 2 hours before your lesson time.
