Rhythm Futures FAQ

Rhythm FutureS FAQ

The following outlines Rhythm Japan’s (owned and operated by Rhythm & Beats. co. Ltd.) Terms & Conditions for Rhythm Rides.

The Sunday program runs on consecutive Sundays over a 14-week period.

The Weekend program runs on consecutive Saturdays & Sundays over a 14-week period

The Futures Camps operate over 5 select weeks during the season. Each camp is 4 days in length. These camps are available in addition to the seasonal program per camp.

No, the program runs on consecutive weeks without breaks

We will group all athletes together at the start of the season into training groups according to age, interests, and ability level. Each group will then have a dedicated coach for the season program.

Our expert coaches running the camps will remain consistent over the 5-week camps. The camps are available to be sold as individual weeks, however, so there may be some changeover each week between the athletes in the group.  Where possible according to the ability/goals of the athletes we will group athletes together who have signed up for the same duration

Our camps are available for intermediate to expert-level riders only.

If you would like to sign up your child for these programs & they are not quite at the intermediate level we may recommend some one-on-one coaching prior to the camp start dates as an option.

Please reach out to futures@rhythmjapan.com to discuss

Our coaches are serious about progressing our Futures Athletes. During the season we will conduct regular skills assessments at the start, middle & end of the program to track our athletes’ progress in a number of snowsports skills. This will provide a foundation for planning our sessions, working towards goals & also tracking our athlete’s progress over the course of their time in the Futures program. We will provide these reports to all parents at the halfway mark & end of the season.

They are experts in what they do; & have the qualifications to back it, these are recognized by the International Snowsports Instructors Association (ISIA) & National Coaching Accreditations giving them the skills & framework to run a great program! If your child is more comfortable with a Japanese-speaking instructor, please select confirm this at the time of booking. We will confirm the availability of Japanese-speaking instructors for your child by early December

We will form groups firstly around those who have a similar ability level & seasonal goals & then secondly around appropriate age groups. We aim to have these groups formed and settled in as soon as possible in the season.

Wherever possible we will be happy to keep shredders together, providing the ages and abilities work well with the rest of the athletes on the team. Please add this information to the comments section when registering your child

Full Day Program & Futures Camps

Each training day will include a 1-hour lunch break. Depending on the ages of the group, and how each group is handling the conditions your coach may take additional breaks during the day as needed.

Mini Futures Program

Will typically take a 15-minute break during the middle of the session to rehydrate, and use the bathroom. This is also a good time for your little one to have a snack and energise, so we recommend packing some snacks.

Full Day Program

Lunch is included in the full-day program; at King Bell. The menu will be confirmed in the lead-up to the season; this typically includes options from the standard menu including a drink.

Mini Program

Lunch is not included

We recommend packing additional snacks for your mini athletes to top up during the day as needed

It is important to note that we can not guarantee any meal is allergy-free. King Bell however offers meals suitable for food intolerances which include:

  • Vegetarian
  • Gluten
  • Dairy
  • Nuts

If your child has a severe food allergy then you must pack a lunch for your child for their safety.

Please fill in the medical information form & one of our Guest Services Team members will be in contact

If your child is over the age of 12 years, you can authorize them to make their own way home at the end of the day. Our Futures Head Coach will be in touch at the start of the season to sign a release form.

Please fill out the medical release form. Our Futures Head Coach will be in contact before the program commences to discuss the best care for your child.

Reservations can be made online using our book now link. Futures seasonal programs will close on November 15 & Futures Camps until sold out.

Our programs are designed to be a season-long commitment for both your kids and our coaches. They are not available as casual training sessions. You can, however, book in for the entire program though, and choose to take some days off if this suits your family best.

A deposit is required two weeks after the booking date; with the full amount due 7 days prior to the first lesson.

Registration will be open until November 15 with program placements confirmed by December 8th.  Programs require a minimum of 4 athletes per group/level in order to operate.

Waitlist positions for the program will be confirmed from December 9th.

Our program is offered a fixed price for the entire season regardless of how many days you would like to train for during the season and we are unable to offer pro-rate refunds or rescheduled lessons for missed training days.

We will offer a refund or reschedule only for the following reasons

  1. The training session has been canceled by Rhythm Futures
  2. There is a season-ending injury – a valid medical certificate is required.

We are unable to provide a reschedule or refund of lessons due to Covid.

If we deem the conditions unsuitable to train in; we may decide to postpone a training day. In this instance, we will first look to reschedule the training day, to another suitable opinion, or if this is not possible we will provide a pro-rata refund
