It’s been a challenging couple of seasons, to say the least. Amongst all the madness brought on by the pandemic, nature did not conform to the chaos, treating us to an unlimited supply of Japan’s finest powder. We, lucky locals, were very fortunate, however, we truly missed the crowds of life and laughter that normally sweep through the town.
With most of the population inoculated, and lockdown restrictions coming to an end, things are finally looking up! Knowing that we are one step closer to welcoming back our international friends has spurred the crew at Rhythm to work collectively to move past this challenge. 3. NEW STORE OPENING | RHYTHM SUMMIT, HAKUBA
Back in 2013, Rhythm expanded to Hakuba where we now operate a one-stop ski and snowboard rental and retail store. Today, we are proud to introduce Rhythm Summit, located right in the heart of Happo-One. This new space is specifically designed to capture your retail needs. 1. FIRST SNOW CITED
During our preparation for winter operations, nature decided to give us a preview of the white stuff. Social media blew up on 17th October, with the first flakes of the season falling in Niseko! & just 2 days later, Hakuba followed suit.
If this season is anything like the last, we are all in for a treat.

2. OPENING DATES CONFIRMED IN NISEKO & HAKUBA!
The announcement of the 21/22 season’s operations has given us some reassurance that – through all the uncertainty – winter IS happening and the countdown can finally begin!
Here are the confirmed dates:
• Niseko Village – December 3rd
• Grand Hirafu – December 4th
• Hanazono – December 4th
• Annupuri – December 4th.
