Today (December 5th) the Niseko United Resort opened up again for another snow filled winter! The chairlifts are now open and ready for all local skiers and boarders who are ready to ride.

LOCAL STOKE
Niseko: A reduced numbers of humans in town this winter shouldn’t be confused with low stoke levels, as the locals seem keener than ever to get out and smash pow. This weeks big snowfall proved this point as many couldn’t wait for the chairlifts to start turning and opted to ski tour Grand Hirafu. We can confirm that they found what they were looking for, check out some of the action here.

Furano: The resort opened with a bang, with 100+cm of snow accumulating by Monday morning. Rhythm shop staff (and husband and wife) Aki and Kei were in the right place at the right time and were happy to score their first pow day of the season.

RESORT OPERATIONS
This weeks storm has delivered the snow needed for most Hokkaido resorts to open, and the majority are either open or in the final stages of opening. For more information on resort operations click the links below.

RHYTHM OPERATIONS
Hirafu: Rhythm Main St. (the original Rhythm store) is now open for winter. Strict COVID prevention measures are in place and our team is smaller than usual, but other than that it’s business as usual for this iconic location. Our sister store Boot Solutions is open for business in both Hirafu and Niseko Village locations.
Furano: Our brand new store is now open seven days a week, come on in and see us!
