The Rhythm Rail Jam 2019 Recap

We did it again! And this time it was even bigger than ever before. On February 9th, our 2019 Rail Jam was hosted for the first time at Sunsports Field with one of our most impressive line-up of skiers and snowboarders taking part of the contest.

Outside in a jaw-shaking -9 degrees and massive snow dumps, we can’t be stoked enough for everyone braving the weather to witness the spectacular riders sending it every run.

Our partners went all out to set up food trucks full of mouth-watering food and beverages, fire dancing in between breaks of the contest, and not forgetting the alluring high-intensity beauty of Taiko drumming.

We held a huge raffle for Protect Our Winters, which is a great cause towards the concern of climate change. With prizes ranging from skis, snowboards, jackets, bags and more, the crowds were full of enthusiasm to take part of the raffle and make their contribution towards an important movement.

The winners of the contest were:

Snowboard
1st Place: Yutaro Miyazawa
2nd Place: Tim Herbert
3rd Place: Alex Ste-Marie

Ski
1st Place: Aaron Hayes
2nd Place: Yohei Hoshino
