BURTON IS BIG IN JAPAN!

Since 1977 there has been one brand representing everything that’s ground breaking about snowboarding. Burton! Possibly the most popular snowboarding brand ever, Burton constantly pushes boundaries and develop products that humans who ride can’t get enough of.

Burton is especially big in Japan where snowboarders have fallen in love with the brand because of its technical proficiency and stylish look. Rhythm Japan is proud to be the largest stockist of Burton products on the island of Hokkaido and region of Hakuba, offering a huge range of everything Burton including boards, boots, bindings, outerwear, and accessories.

Burton snowboards are well known for offering the perfect ride along with a variety of graphics, from the cutting edge to the classic. Rhythm stocks the Family Tree line which is Burton’s free ride, all mountain, backcountry and pow specific line of boards. Included in store (among others) are the Flight Attendant, Landlord and the women’s specific Day Trader.

Just like a good meal should be paired with the perfect wine, no snowboard is complete without a complementing set of bindings. Burton bindings are the best in the business, which is why within our huge range we include the Diode Est, Malavita Est and Lex Est to match the Family Tree board line.

It’s pretty easy to make a cultural faux pas in Japan when it comes to fashion. Just like you would never wear a bikini in an onsen, you wouldn’t be caught dead on the mountain without technically suitable outerwear.  This is why we stock Burton jackets, in particular their AK range which are so stuffed full of Gore-Tex and down we’re tempted to carve them up like a Christmas turkey.

You’ll also find top of the line Burton boots including the SLX which is so technologically advanced NASA is reportedly sending a pair to the moon.**

Majority of the Burton hardgoods (excluding boots) we have on our floor are also available in our rental fleet, which means you can try before you buy. So next time you’re in Niseko or Hakuba, visit Rhythm and buy or hire something from our Burton range. We guarantee you’ll walk out of our store with at least 84% more street cred.
